Spending the energy bar
A clean racing line is a source of safety as well as time. Boosting past a rival feels tempting until the next wall takes the last of your energy. Broad tracks let you experiment with lean and grip before later courses compress the available road. Story missions can be abruptly demanding; the Grand Prix offers a better place to learn how a chosen machine behaves.
Learn a course without boosting everywhere. Choose a forgiving machine, notice the recharge strips and build a lap you can repeat before chasing a faster one.
Nintendo and Sega on one circuit
Nintendo’s 2003 GameCube racer was developed by Sega. The shared boost and damage resource ties its spectacle to a readable risk: every burst leaves less room for a collision.
