A sky to learn
Exploration is the attraction, but battles regulate how quickly you can pursue it. The party shares Spirit for its strongest moves, making a defensive turn an investment in a later attack. Ship combat enlarges the same problem into a planned sequence of firing and recovery. Frequent encounters can interrupt a promising stretch of travel; the pleasure comes from reaching a new place and gradually making the sky navigable.
Take time to explore between major objectives, and learn what the shared Spirit pool lets the group do together. Save before longer expeditions. The appeal depends on enjoying the journey despite repeated encounters, rather than expecting uninterrupted flight.
An adventure between islands
The Japanese Dreamcast edition appeared as Eternal Arcadia in 2000. It places a turn-based party adventure inside a world of airships and scattered islands. That setting supports an optimistic account of travel and discovery, giving the collection a different rhythm from its short arcade sessions.
Why we chose it for Dreamcast
Airship exploration and shared battle resources support a long, optimistic journey.
