Who goes through the door
A locked room asks you to inspect objects and connect clues; the conversation outside it asks whether the people who helped you are telling the truth. Door choices keep those two forms of uncertainty together. Long passages of explanation can delay the next useful discovery, and returning through familiar material demands patience. The branching structure rewards paying attention to what changes between routes, rather than treating the first ending as the whole account.
Keep a record of the route
Keep brief notes on door choices and unresolved details without searching for an ending guide at the outset. Examine objects again after acquiring new information. Expect substantial reading, graphic descriptions of violence and repeated sections between routes.
Chunsoft’s DS original appeared in Japan in 2009, followed by Aksys Games’ North American release in 2010. The numbered bracelets and digital-root rules make the division of the group a visible problem. This record covers the original DS presentation; the later Nonary Games package remasters it alongside its sequel.
