A defence that keeps moving
Enemies make a defensive habit unsafe by surrounding, throwing or interrupting you. A successful fight depends on moving out of that pressure and choosing a response with enough space to finish. The camera sometimes makes the reading harder than it should be. Repeated attempts become rewarding when a room changes from apparent chaos into a sequence of threats you can anticipate.
Learn the defensive movement before memorising long attack strings. A short safe response is more useful than a powerful move you cannot finish under pressure.
Which Ninja Gaiden?
Black is the 2005 Xbox edition, distinct from the earlier Ninja Gaiden release and later Sigma versions. The precise edition matters when discussing its encounters and difficulty.
Why we chose it for Xbox
