When to stop moving

The opening village teaches space through pressure. A doorway can funnel attackers, a ladder can buy time, and neither stays safe indefinitely. Precise hits create opportunities to move closer for a kick or retreat to reload. Inventory organisation gives that action a quieter counterpart: ammunition and healing occupy the same limited case. Escort passages and abrupt prompts can break the flow, but the encounters keep changing the useful distance.

Use the opening fights to practise aiming, quick turns and retreating before firing again. Treat the surroundings as part of the encounter, rather than trying to solve every problem from one position.

The original 2005 game

Capcom’s post-release records identify the GameCube versions in 2005 and separate the later PS2 releases. This feature covers that original game, not the later remake that shares its title.
