Looking away from the route

Holding a lock on several targets creates an uncomfortable pause before the release. The dragon keeps moving while you prepare the attack, so a promising group of enemies can also be a distraction from something approaching behind. Branches in the route make another run more than a rehearsal. The strongest stretches ask you to read the landscape and the firing pattern together.

A second flight

Zwei follows the first Panzer Dragoon with branching routes and a developing dragon. The Japanese Saturn edition arrived in 1996. Its structure is useful beside Tomb Raider: both present elaborate spaces, but this game controls the journey through them so the player can concentrate on threats and timing.

Learn how to change the view before worrying about a high score. A first run can be a tour of the route; repeat a section to understand where a lock-on attack is safer than reacting with single shots.

Why we chose it for Saturn

Branching routes and attacks from several directions make the guided flight worth revisiting.
